X-FLEX project participates at the Networking Village of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2021 to promote its solutions, which integrate the emerging decentralized ecosystem of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and flexibility systems into the existing European energy system, in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This year’s EUSEW will take place online on 25-29 October 2021 and bring together leading professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in the field.
On October 28, X-FLEX, together with e-balance plus project, organise the EnergyTalk “ ENERGETIC HOLIDAYS: How to not only reload your guests´ batteries, but also boost energy efficiency in your vacation resort”
The talk will show how two holiday resorts (Albena in Bulgaria and Novasol in Denmark) use their special conditions to provide energy flexibility from their local networks to the distribution grid, to increase their reliability and efficiency. These resorts are pilot sites in these two H2020 projects (X-FLEX and ebalance-plus), which are working on innovative ICT solutions and market mechanisms to use this flexibility to create a more stable, secure, and sustainable smart grid.
Besides, X-FLEX will participate at the virtual exhibition as part of the ETRA I+D booth, from 25 to 29 October 2021.
Alongside the Policy Conference, the event features a prestigious Awards Ceremony and the second edition of the European Youth Energy Day, as well as a Networking Village, which will help you to engage with the EUSEW community. There will also be a series of locally organised Sustainable Energy Days, taking place throughout September and October, allowing individuals and communities to organise digital activities and events across Europe to promote clean energy and energy efficiency. Each of these elements offers ample opportunities to get involved, join the conversation and make the EUSEW community stronger and more exciting than ever.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible to ensure your attendance at this key event.
